"Documents and Settings" Folder Missing from XP Disk when Seen from Windows 7
I attached my Windows XP Drive to my new Windows 7 system in order to transfer the files. All folders were visible except "Documents and Settings". When I looked at it a couple of days later, it suddenly appeared, whereas another folder disappeared from the Windows 7 disk and had to be re-copied to the Windows 7 system. What gives? Has this bug been fixed?

Hi, If the folder is created correctly, it would remain in Windows 7. Based on your description, I suggest you can search for files using advanced search options, check the result. If nothing can be found, please confirm you copy it to Windows 7 completely. please note: some processes will be canceled when it meet mistake. And you can try to find the folder by showing hidden files. Hope it helps.
